Shirley leads our Debt Recovery and Insolvency team and has over 20 years experience in litigation, debt recovery and insolvency. She has previously worked in commerce and local government as well as private practice and has also developed projects dealing with outsourced credit management on a pan European scale.
Shirley’s own practice area since joining the firm has been insolvency litigation, advising and representing insolvency practitioners in a variety of contentious matters. Since heading up the team in 2004 she has focused on ensuring that client care is at the heart of its philosophy across all areas of its work.

Geoffrey DearingConsultant

Rob ThompsonLegal Executive

Rob has been with the firm for over 15 years and has particular expertise in Consumer Credit Act issues. He is currently Vice Chairman of the Greater London & South East region of the Civil Court Users Association. He also sits on the Association’s Legal & Technical committee, representing the interests of creditors in government consultations on debt related legislative proposals. Rob manages a team specialising in volume debt recovery.

Graham WallisLitigation Executive
Graham specialises in volume debt recovery from initial proceedings through to enforcement for both large corporations and smaller companies. His expertise also includes personal, partnership and company insolvency proceedings, bankruptcy and liaising with liquidators and trustees. His experience also includes advocacy for interlocutory applications.

Claire is a Litigation Executive, having joined Brachers over 18 years ago. She has a wealth of experience in debt recovery and insolvency petition work, acting for a variety of creditor clients.
