John SheathManaging Partner & Head of Healthcare
John has specialised in Health Law since 1983. As part of our service to NHS clients he proactively advises on the latest Health & Safety developments as part of the NHS Controls Assurance Governance. He lectures on a wide range of topics including Manual Handling. John has been advising the NHS for 25 years on health and safety matters and is a member of the Health & Safety Lawyers’ Association.

Marita Jones is head of the Environmental and Planning team. She has extensive experience of representing local authorities and clients in Regulatory crime including Health and Safety issues. She is a member of the Health & Safety Lawyers’ Association.

Henry AbrahamConsultant
Henry is a former partner with the firm and now a consultant. He has advised clients on Health & Safety and Environmental prosecutions. Henry is an experienced advocate and presented a paper to the CBI on Directors’ personal liability for breaches of the Health and Safety at Work Act 1974.

Andrew ClarkeAssociate
Andrew has advised on health & safety, motoring and other regulatory prosecutions since 1994. He has dealt with numerous fatal and serious injury cases, advising both at the interview stage on plea and tactics and appearing as an advocate in the Magistrates’ Court and at inquests. Andrew advises commercial and public authority clients on issues of health & safety compliance, risk management and responding to formal notices and warnings. Andrew is a member of the Health & Safety Lawyers’ Association.
