If you have suffered from an occupational or industrial disease we can help you get the compensation you are entitled to. We are one of the leading firms in the region including Kent & the Medway Towns specialising in industrial disease on a ‘no win-no fee’ basis. This includes fatal asbestos industrial disease, like mesothelioma, hand arm vibration syndrome (HAVS), RSI and occupational asthma.
Even where activities causing the industrial/occupational disease, such as mesothelioma, happened many years ago, compensation can frequently be obtained on a ‘no win-no fee’ basis.
Where the guilty party is no longer in operation, we can often seek compensation for industrial diseases from their insurer. Very often a building’s occupier could also be responsible for the industrial disease.
We help clients throughout Kent and the South East, many of which are located in the Medway area, to get compensation for all types of industrial disease. We are the only firm in Kent, Sussex or Surrey with an APIL Accredited Occupational disease Specialist and APIL Accredited Asbestos Disease Specialist solicitor. Cases we help with can include:
- Asbestos disease/mesothelioma - including also asbestosis (pulmonary fibrosis), atelectasis (folded lung), lung cancer and pleural thickening. These industrial diseases often do not develop until 30 years or more after the exposure. Medway is a national hotspot for mesothelioma.
- Occupational asthma/other respiratory disease - i.e. non-asbestos respiratory diseases such as occupational asthma, berylliosis, silicosis and emphysema.
- Hand Arm Vibration Syndrome (HAVs) and Repetitive Strain Injury (RSI) - an industrial disease type sometimes known as work related upper limb disorders (WRULD).
- Other industrial disease
The most common industrial disease claims we deal with are asbestos diseases like mesothelioma, lung cancer , asbestosis and pleural thickening.
