We subscribe to the code of practice of the solicitors family law association which says that:
- We should encourage both you and other family members to put your child's welfare first
- We should encourage parents to co-operate when making decisions concerning your child and advise parents that it is often better to make arrangements for your child between themselves, through their solicitors or through a mediator rather than through a court hearing.
- In any letters we write, we keep disputes about arrangements for your child separate from disputes about money .
We have extensive experience of working on cases involving children. We act for parents regarding where children are to live, who they are to see and other specific issues relating to divorce or separation.
We act for both children and parents in adoption matters. We can also offer advice on other issues including child abduction and child support arrangements.
