The Lawyer Awards 2007

Brachers are delighted to have been shortlisted in the Employment Team of the Year 2007 category of this year's Lawyer Awards, held by The Lawyer magazine.

Brachers competed with hundreds of entries to win their place in the most diverse shortlist. They sit alongside top City firms and a variety of other practices, such as Allen & Overy, Ashurst, Clifford Chance and Linklaters, and firms such as Mishcon de Reya, Trowers and Hamlins, and Simmons and Simmons.

In the Employment category, judges reviewed full details of the Tenby v Smee’s Advertising Ltd case submitted by Brachers, for evidence of precedent-setting or innovation, whilst also looking at the team’s work over the year.

As well as the hundreds of entries for the Lawyer Awards, the Lawyer editorial team conducts an in depth research process, interviewing lawyers and their clients to supplement the nominations. For the third year they have put together an advisory judging panel taken from the great and the good in City institutions and the media who assist with judging the nominations. The premier event in the legal calendar took place on 26 June at The Grosvenor House Hotel, where the winners of each category was announced.
