Management Buy Out of Power Efficiency Limited

The management team of Power Efficiency Limited recently acquired 100 percent of the leading energy management consultancy company for an undisclosed sum.  Power Efficiency is a Sidcup based business providing risk managed energy procurement and carbon management services to businesses.

Bobby Collinson of Power Efficiency said “The management buy out will allow Power Efficiency to focus on its provision of key services to reduce customers energy costs and carbon emissions and also it will allow us to develop new areas of expertise such as energy performance certification”

Kent based advisors were strongly represented on the deal, which was put together by Mike Norrie and Andy Robinson of Vantis Corporate Finance, Tonbridge.  Philip Cunningham and Claire Williams of Brachers Solicitors, Maidstone advised the management team and the vendors were advised by Charlotte Parry-Jones of Woolsey Morris Kennedy of Sidcup. John Francis and Sam Wells of Lindeyer Francis Ferguson of Tonbridge provided auditing sign-off on the transaction.

The transaction was partly vendor financed and HSBC provided the remainder of the finance for the transaction.  HSBC were advised by Thomas Eggar LLP.
