Announcing the 2008 Series
of In-house Lawyer Debates on Value
These events will achieve the first national debate on what value means for in-house legal teams and will cover the role of the in-house lawyer, what best practice in-house legal services look like to employing businesses, institutions and authorities, and the relationship with law firms.
The debates, held under Chatham House rules, will take place on dates in and around February, June and October with each round of meetings considering different aspects of value. The first round of debates will be held in seven regions:

A significant feature of the project is that after each of the three rounds of debates LBConnect will compile a comprehensive, unattributable report of findings, views and recommendations based on the real experiences of in-house lawyers up and down the country. Thus creating, by the end of the series, three thematically linked reports and one of the most comprehensive and current commentaries on value of its type.
