Maidstone Rugby welcomes Sponsors
Despite the disappointing results for the 1st XV in what has been a difficult opening to the season for the club, Maidstone Rugby were pleased to invite their sponsors to lunch for this weekend's league fixture against Thanet Wanderers. With new shirt sponsors for 4 of the clubs currently 7 senior sides the day gave an opportunity for the club to say thank you to its sponsors who provide invaluable support to community based sport.
Simon Wright, Chief Executive of Simon Wright Homes reaffirmed his continued and long term support as the club's primary sponsor. The club were pleased to welcome John Sheath (Managing Partner) and his wife Vanessa from new official sponsors Brachers Solicitors who have made a significant commitment to the club as new official sponsors, in particular as lead sponsors for the club's extremely competitive Mustangs XV. John Sheath is an ex Beckenham player and was particularly pleased to be able to watch the Mustangs take on his old club in an Invicta League fixture.
Additionally, Britelite Windows and Homewarm were also on hand to maintain their support as shirt sponsors for the club's 3rd XV, a side which has probably been the most consistent in the Mid Kent A League since its inception, and forms the foundation of the club's Evergreen Cup XV where they were runners up last year. Earl Street Recruitment completes this year’s new sponsors as the shirt sponsor of the club 5th XV.
