Brachers assists with Balreed Digitec growth plans

Balreed Digitec (UK) Limited a Maidstone full service office equipment company has acquired Balreed Limited for an undisclosed sum. The acquisition will grow the Balreed Digitec Group and create new business opportunities in South London. The two companies had historical links prior to the acquisition and so the purchase by Balreed Digitec was seen as a natural step by the parties. Robin Stanton-Gleaves of Balreed Digitec said "I was very pleased to complete the purchase of Balreed Limited. It was a long term goal when I first started Balreed Digitec to bring the two businesses together. We are looking forward to developing the Balreed Limited business within the growing Balreed Digitec Group"
Claire Williams of Brachers Solicitors, Maidstone acted for Balreed Digitec and Richard Price and Lesley Carrington of McCabe Ford Williams, Sittingbourne provided accounting, finance and tax advice to Balreed Digitec. Finance for the transaction was partly funded by RBS/Natwest.
