I act for clients who have been injured in a range of situations from road traffic accidents, accidents at work, to accidents caused by tripping or slipping on the highway, be it a pavement or a road.

My clients’ injuries are of varying degrees of severity from whiplash injuries that heal within a few months to people with long term spinal pain; and sprains and ligament damage to multiple fractures.

Having handled a varied case load of litigation claims for a number of years I moved to Brachers in 2000 and joined their Personal Injury team where I now act for people injured in accidents through no fault of their own.

I am an Associate of the Chartered Institute of Legal Executives (ACILEx), and a member of APIL (the Association of Personal Injury Lawyers).

I have worked in legal practice since I was 18, initially assisting a Partner with his cases. I progressed, by means of practical experience and passing professional exams, to handling my own cases, by my mid twenties. Whilst I have dealt with other areas of Civil Litigation, such as property disputes, debt collection, mortgage repossession, and matrimonial matters, I have throughout my career dealt with personal injury claims. This is an area of law which I find most rewarding.

Outside work, my immediate thought is “What spare time!” However, I do enjoy reading mainly fantasy fiction, with Terry Pratchett and Douglas Adams being two of my favourite authors. I’m also involved in helping at my local Rugby Club, for which my son plays, with a position on the mini and junior section committee. I enjoy sewing from making clothes to fixing and mending and embroidering when my time allows.
