Victoria Toy
I am a solicitor specialising in family law and joined Brachers in May 2011. I qualified in 2009 after completing my training with a firm in East Sussex where I predominately focused on family law. I deal with all aspects of family law including financial proceedings arising from divorce, cohabitee disputes and have a particular interest in children act proceedings. I also advise on preventative measures such as pre-nuptial and cohabitee agreements.
I work on a wide variety of matrimonial and cohabitation cases ranging from low to medium asset cases and regularly assist partners on high asset cases. I also act in public law cases involving children and act for the RSPCA in prosecuting animal welfare cases which has provided me with good court experience.
I am a member of Resolution whose members follow a code of practice that promotes a non-confrontational approach to family problems and encourages solutions that consider the needs of the whole family and in particular the best interests of children.
In my spare time I attend French classes and enjoy running, reading and snowboarding.
