      Employment specialists from the firm’s specialist education sector team, Antonio Fletcher and Louise Brenlund, will cover:

      • How to obtain and when to use medical evidence
      • How to avoid common pitfalls relating to absence management
      • The role of the Equality Act within this context

      We will also allocate time to cover any topical sector developments that arise between now and the webinar.

      Antonio Fletcher, Partner, Brachers

      Antonio is a Partner in our Employment and HR team and heads up the firm’s Education Sector group.

      He joined Brachers in 2017 and was promoted to Partner in 2018. He has nearly 15 years’ experience advising businesses of all sizes on employment law, as well as advising schools and other education providers.

      Antonio was named as a ‘Recommended Lawyer’ in the Legal 500 2022 directory.

      Louise Brenlund, Senior Associate, Brachers

      Louise advises on all aspects of employment law, mainly acting for employers but also taking on complex, high-value employee claims work.

      She has a keen interest in the education sector and sat as a governor at Waterfront UTC between 2017 to 2021. She has recently commenced a new role as trustee at the Rivermead Inclusive Trust.

      Louise is also an active member of the local business community and contributes through her work as vice-chair of the steering group of the Rochester Business Guild and works closely with Mid-Kent CIPD to provide employment law seminars and webinars.
