This free, virtual Q&A session on Wills and tax planning will give you the chance to find out the answers to your questions such as what is the process of getting a Will, why you need one, what to consider when making a Will as a married couple, and how to include provision for children under 18.
The session will also cover tax planning, with presenter Alexandra Gordon answering questions on asset protection, wealth protection, and planning for the future.
Simply submit your question on registration for this virtual session. If time allows, there will also be the chance to ask questions via a live chat function on the evening.
We will do our best to answer all questions submitted and all names will be kept anonymous.
Who should attend?
Anyone who doesn’t currently have a Will and would like to find out more, as well as those with any questions regarding tax planning and wealth protection.
Michael Cressey is a specialist Court of Protection Paralegal within Brachers’ Private Client team. He has been at Brachers since 2010, and advises clients on all aspects of Court of Protection, Lasting Powers of Attorney, Enduring Powers of Attorney, Wills and the creation of Personal Injury Trusts.
Alexandra Gordon is the youngest Partner in the firm, gaining partnership aged 34. She specialises in capital tax planning and assists clients with minimising their Inheritance Tax and Capital Gains Tax liabilities.
Alexandra is currently named Next Generation Partner in Legal 500 for the second year running. In 2019 she was named as one of the epivateclient Top 35 under 35, ranked in the Citywealth Top 100 Future Leaders 2019 and won bronze at the Citywealth 2019 Awards for Partner of the Year (Regional).
She is also a qualified Chartered Tax Adviser and Notary Public, making her tri-qualified.
