Medical Negligence

We have a team of experienced lawyers that specialise in no win no fee hospital negligence claims. This is a complex area of law in which we have long standing expertise and this enables us to obtain the best outcomes for our clients.

We work on a no win no fee basis and can provide a free initial consultation to establish whether you may be eligible for receiving compensation.

As a society, we place our trust in the skill and expertise of our healthcare professionals. In the overwhelming majority of cases, this trust is repaid with excellent care and dedication. On occasions, however, things can go wrong and medical negligence claims for injury or death arise which need to be investigated. That is where our team of medical negligence lawyers excel with their specialist skill and expertise, to work on claiming the compensation you deserve.

Types of hospital negligence claims

Hospital claims tend to fall into two categories; surgical claims and non-surgical claims. We are experienced in respect of cases across both of these categories, each of which include many areas of specialisation.

Surgical claims

Surgical negligence claims may include those for negligently performed operations in areas such as cardiology, orthopaedics, spinal surgery, colo-rectal surgery, nephrology (renal surgery) and in respect of any area of surgical procedure where there has been a negative outcome which appears to be due to poor hospital care.

Non-surgical claims

There are a wide variety of non-surgical claims that relate to hospital treatment. Such claims include where there has been a delay in diagnosis, misdiagnosis of diseases such as cancer and misdiagnosis of fractured bones or other illness or injury. Claims against hospitals also relate to cases where patients have contracted infections such as sepsis or MRSA and the failure to treat the infection promptly or appropriately has led to a decline in patient health. Non-surgical claims also include claims against hospitals for injuries sustained during childbirth or labour.
