In our final ‘60 seconds with…’ interview of 2020, we speak to Signe Sparne from our Commercial Property team.
How long have you worked at Brachers?
I trained and qualified at Brachers from 2016 to 2018. At the time of my qualification, the Commercial Property team did not have capacity for a new solicitor so I moved to Jersey (Channel Island) where I continued to practise commercial property law as a qualified solicitor.
I missed home too much so I moved back to Kent and Brachers welcomed me back in October 2020.
What made you get into law?
My mum planted the seed of a career in law when she used to say that I was far too cheeky and had too many comebacks to not be a lawyer.
What advice would you give to your younger self?
Everything happens for a reason, whether good or bad – life is a lesson!
What’s been the top highlight of your career so far?
Becoming a solicitor and practising law in a different jurisdiction for two years has been a top highlight by far.
Sum up working at Brachers in three words
Supportive, opportunity, friendly.
