  • Brachers has been awarded the coveted Law Firm of the Year prize at this year’s national Halsbury Legal Awards.

Halsbury is one of the oldest, most respected and iconic legal brands, Halsbury’s Statutes being the authoritative source of statute law in England & Wales. The Awards commemorate the annual achievements of law firms throughout the country, with winners selected by independent judges from across the legal spectrum.

The firm collected its award at a dinner and celebration held on 16 September 2015 at the Grange St Paul’s Hotel in London.

The win in the top Law Firm of the Year category venerates the firm’s forward-thinking approach to development initiatives and client care in the face of tough market conditions. It moreover acknowledges Brachers’ commitment to their clients and Kent’s business community and comes hot on the heels of its acquisition of Maidstone-based solicitors Watson Nevill in June.

Joanna Worby, Managing Partner, commented on the win:

“Firmwide gratitude goes to each of our clients and staff who continue to propel us forward. To be picked to be Halsbury’s choice of Law Firm of the Year is thrilling – and it’s an opportunity that has only come to us because of the quality of work our clients give us and the dedication of our teams in serving them. We hope to use this award win as a platform to continue providing a comprehensive service to our clients in Kent and beyond.”
