Brachers’ Private Client team maintains Chambers High Net Worth ranking in 2022 guide

Brachers’ Private Client team has maintained its Band 2 ranking in the latest edition of the Chambers and Partners High Net Worth Guide 2022, in the area of private wealth law.

The Chambers and Partners High Net Worth Guide ranks the top lawyers and law firms practising in the area of private wealth. These extensive and market-leading recommendations, rankings and insights are based on in-depth interviews and analysis carried out by Chambers and Partners’ team of experienced researchers.

The rankings are based on feedback and client testimonials and references, which are used to provide an objective endorsement of law firms’ expertise, approach and client service delivery.

In this latest guide, interviewees praise Brachers’ Private Client team’s ability to handle complex work. One source says: “They quickly grasp complex and technical matters with professionalism and efficiency,” with another interviewee confirming that that team has “an excellent ability in dealing with all complex matters.”

Partner and head of the Private Client team, Christopher Eriksson-Lee, remains the only lawyer in the region to be individually ranked Band 1, the top ranking available. Chambers and Partners quote a source who notes: “He is excellent technically and has great inter-personal skills.” Another interviewee comments: “He puts the clients at the forefront of what he does.”

Private Client Partner Alexandra Gordon has also retained her Band 3 individual ranking. An interviewee comments: “Her skill set allows her to offer a personal and sensitive service to her clients, dealing with matters efficiently and competently.” Another says: “Alexandra is a fantastic lawyer. Her depth of knowledge is amazing. Her real strength, however, is that she is able to distill all that knowledge to clients at a level they understand and have confidence moving forward with.”

This is the second time the team has been shortlisted in this category, after winning the award in 2021.

In addition, Alexandra Gordon was one of only five lawyers from across the globe shortlisted in the Trusted Advisor of the Year category at the STEP Private Client Awards 2021, and later in the year won ‘Mentor of the Year’ at the Inspirational Women in Law Awards.
