• Brachers is proud to support the Canterbury community by returning as a sponsor of the Canterbury Festival, taking place from Tuesday 26 September to Saturday 4 November.

Founded in 1984, the festival showcases the best of Kent’s arts and culture while celebrating the vibrant city of Canterbury. Visitors will enjoy an extravaganza of performances, music, talks, family events and more, taking place across the city.

Brachers is particularly excited to be sponsoring the ‘Slightly Fat Features and Friends’ show on Friday 3 November. This talented troupe combines magic, juggling, sketch comedy, songs and illusions to put on a chaotic comedy cabaret. Audiences will be treated to a humorous, lively and family-friendly performance described as “Cirque de Soleil meets Monty Python”.

Brachers’ Managing Partner, Joanna Worby, commented: “We are delighted to support the Canterbury Festival again this year. Kent has a thriving arts scene enjoyed by thousands of local people and visitors every year.

“Since opening our Canterbury office in 2020, we have received such a warm welcome from local organisations and businesses – it’s great to be able to return our support for this wonderful city.”

Please visit the Canterbury Festival website for more information and to view the full programme.

The decision to expand in Canterbury a few years ago with the opening of offices in Watling Street was supported by the city’s strong community of businesses. The convenient city centre location helps to support the continued growth of the local client base in the city and ensures the firm is best placed to serve clients across the whole of the South East, as well as London.

Brachers’ award winning solicitors located in the Canterbury office are highly qualified in a wide range of specialisms and can provide legal support on a variety of issues. Brachers’ head office also still remains in the county town of Maidstone.
