Following the European Court of Justice’s landmark decision in Lock -v- British Gas in which it was concluded that regular commission should be included in holiday pay calculations, Easyjet has agreed to include commission in calculating cabin crews holiday pay entitlement and will compensate eligible staff for underpayment of holiday for the two preceding years.
This is despite the Lock decision being appealed and due for hearing in December 2015 at which the decision could change.
