• Brachers was delighted to win Best collaboration across the management team at the 2017 Managing Partners’ Forum (MPF) Management Excellence Awards in conjunction with Harvard Business Review and The Financial Times – the only competition that highlights management’s contribution to strategy and leadership, client excellence, operational excellence and responsible business.

The MPF is an organisation dedicated to helping professional firms grow by providing insights to improve performance. Its Management Excellence awards have become well-established and receives entries from firms across the UK.

The black-tie gala dinner and Awards ceremony took place at the London Marriott, Grosvenor Square on Wednesday 8 March 2017.

Brachers was the only professional services firm in Kent to be nominated for the awards.

The firm’s entry in the Best collaboration across the management team category highlighted the new internal structures that had been put in place to support the firm’s strategic objectives, aligning the business plan to best serve the needs of clients rather than thinking in practice area silos. The result has been to promote better teamwork across the firm, which has also improved staff engagement.

The firm was also delighted to be shortlisted for Best corporate culture following our ‘With You All The Way’ campaign designed to ensure we take a really bespoke approach to each client’s needs and that staff behaviours are tightly aligned to business strategy.

    Joanna Worby, Managing Partner, said:

“We are very proud to win this coveted award. It was a great night in superb company. I’m really pleased that, against some of the best professional service businesses in the country, we flew the flag for Kent and won the Best collaboration award. For us, collaboration, teamwork and engagement are what it’s all about – so that we can really put our clients first and help them meet their business challenges.”
