    Charlotte has specialised in private client work since qualifying in 1993. She joined Brachers in 2020 following a break from her legal career which began in Tunbridge Wells with Cripps Pemberton Greenish and then onto Eversheds Sutherland, before leading the Estate Planning and Administration team at Coutts Private Bank in London as a Senior Tax Consultant. Charlotte is a former Partner in Donaldson West, a niche private client firm in East Sussex and also ran her own Will making business.

    She is a member of the Society of Trust and Estate Practitioners (STEP), Kent Law Society and the Private Client Section of the Law Society.

    Charlotte has extensive experience in estate planning for wealthy families and entrepreneurs and planning for wealth preservation for future generations including complex Will drafting. She has a wide breath of experience and has been both a professional Executor and Trustee, having in the past been appointed as a professional Deputy by the Court of Protection and successfully made an application for a Statutory Will.

    Since joining Brachers, Charlotte has been involved in high-value probate applications involving significant claims for Agricultural Property Relief and Business Property Relief for inheritance tax purposes, as well as a tax planning exercise involving a non-domiciled spouse with property in more than one jurisdiction.
