• Profile:

    Paul is a Partner at Brachers within the Commercial Litigation team. He joined Brachers in 2002 from a national producer of fire safety equipment for whom he worked in the debt collection department.

    Since 2002 Paul has specialised in defended debt collection and insolvency work both pre and post order and now supervises two fee earners in the general debt collection branch of the Commercial Litigation Department.

    Paul’s clients include multinational companies as well as small local firms and individuals. Paul brings a strong sense of commerciality to every case he deals with which assists his clients in obtaining the best possible outcome.

    Paul specialises in advising professional clients, including Trustees in Bankruptcy and Liquidators and has built a workload of analytical asset tracing for these types of client.

    Paul prides himself on building a rapport with his clients so he can understand and implement their instructions to obtain the best outcome for his clients.

    Paul also offers bespoke credit control and debt collection training sessions to clients and is always ready to offer assistance to clients when they are writing and implementing a credit control procedure as prevention is better than a cure.

    Paul is named as a ‘Recommended Lawyer’ in the Legal 500 2024 directory.

    Paul was shortlisted in the ‘Outstanding Contribution to the Law in Kent Award – Contentious’ category in Kent Law Society’s Awards 2022.
