Brachers is a leading law firm of choice in the South East, which prides itself on delivering quality and value to clients through continuous innovation, robust management practice and a commitment to excellence.

    What we are looking for

We are currently looking for an experienced corporate solicitor, with 6+ years’ PQE, to join our team based at our offices in Maidstone, Kent.

This is a rare opportunity for the right person to join a successful, dynamic corporate team working on some of the biggest and most complex transactions in the region.

    The role

We would expect anyone wishing to be considered for this role to have experience working as part of a team on corporate deals, and to have general experience in advising on company law matters. Some experience of banking law would be a bonus but not essential.

Ideally you will have 6+ years’ PQE , and be a team player who enjoys working in a fast paced environment with others to successfully deliver completed transactions for clients. You must have experience of managing client matters to a successful conclusion whilst meeting their objectives and financial expectations.

You should demonstrate a keen commercial acumen and understand the need to provide ‘added value’ to clients. The ideal candidate will have experience and enthusiasm in active participation in marketing and business development activities and be self-motivated with drive and determination to deliver as part of a growing team.

Consistent with Brachers’ location outside of London, the firm also has a realistic and sustainable attitude to billable hours, giving its fee earners the breathing-space needed to explore new specialisms and pursue exciting new opportunities as they arise.

The size of the team means you’ll benefit from the ability to work independently, alongside direct partner support and training to support your personal development.

    What we can offer you

We value a good-work life balance and offer flexible and remote working alongside our office bases, situated in the heart of Maidstone and Canterbury. Additionally we offer training and personal development opportunities, alongside a competitive salary and great benefits package including:
