• We have a rare opportunity for an enthusiastic individual to join us as a Digital Marketing Executive reporting to our Digital Marketing Manager.

We have offices in Maidstone and Canterbury and whilst hybrid working is available, candidates must be prepared and available to attend the office, predominantly Maidstone, as required by our clients, the team and the business.

    The Role

    The Digital Marketing Executive role is centred around supporting the digital marketing plans and wider marketing strategy with digital content and asset creation. The key focus is to manage the social media channels and ensure that these are reflecting our brand and supporting our business goals.

    In addition to creating a regular schedule of posts, it provides advice and guidance to practice areas on how to promote themselves digitally, driving engagement and helping to increase reach through social media channels.

    The role is responsible for creating a range of digital content including written, video, and creative graphic assets. Therefore, up-to-date knowledge of SEO practices is required along with the ability to reflect our brand values and house style.

    The role requires an interest and ability to interpret and translate data to highlight any opportunities for improvements and support ROI reporting.

    Core Activities

    Social media management

    • Take ownership of the social media strategy and plans and work to deliver an excellent presence
      on our social channels.
    • Liaise with teams within the business and write and plan regular social posts for both the Brachers
      and Kent HR brands, ensuring style and tone of voice guidance is adhered to.
    • Ongoing administration and optimisation of all channels including YouTube, Facebook, LinkedIn
      and Twitter.
    • Manage reactions to social media notifications and messages.
    • Create and manage paid social campaigns.
    • Provide advice and training to staff on social media best practices.
    • Keep abreast of developments and best practices so the business can evolve and keep ahead of

    Digital content and SEO

    • Create content and assets for digital channels to support wider marketing campaigns and objectives, including:
      • Written website copy
      • Videos and animations
      • Social media posts
      • Digital assets such as website and email banners
      • Email marketing and online surveys
      • Infographics
      • Google My Business posts
    • Create and optimise website blogs and content to SEO best practice guides, utilising software including SEMRush and Yoast.
    • Edit content and upload new content to the website.
    • Support the production of webinars and assist the team with setting up the webinars, attending the
      webinars for content gathering and editing/uploading the recordings to Youtube.
    • Assisting the Digital Marketing Manager with all other aspects of digital marketing as required, such
      as PPC campaigns, working with our website and SEO agencies, the intranet and internal comms, implementing new systems, administering other digital system and website developments and digital reporting.

    Supporting the wider marketing team

    • Internal communications.
    • Making amends to design elements and literature and liaising with external design and print
    • Assisting with large events such as the Ploughing Match and Leeds Castle Classical Concert
      sponsorship as required.
    • CRM work as required by the team.

    Are you the right person?

    The ideal candidate will be someone who having gained experience in Digital Marketing, ideally from a legal or similar professional services environment, can hit the ground running in this busy role. We are looking for someone with at least three years’ experience in a similar role. It requires strong IT skills and experience in using SEO and PPC software.

    This role involves working with key stakeholders in the business with varying degrees of seniority and therefore requires a confident communicator who can build relationships with people at different levels. You will have a desire to complete your work to a high standard need to demonstrate high attention detail.

    Ideally someone who is naturally inquisitive and has the knowledge and confidence to put forward new ideas and suggestions to improve our presence in the digital market. Due to the nature or our work, you must also be able to appreciate the need for discretion and confidentiality.
