    What we are looking for

    We are currently looking for a solicitor to join our employment team. The team operate a hybrid working model between our offices in Maidstone, Kent and home working.

    This is an opportunity for the right person to join an innovative and friendly employment team working with our client base of multi-national companies, public sector organisations, SMEs, healthcare providers, schools, colleges, charities and some individuals (primarily in relation to settlement agreements).

    The role

    This role would be perfect for a qualified solicitor who has specialised in employment law in private practice and ideally with some court litigation experience of dealing with restrictive covenant and breach of contract issues.

    Ideally you will have 1+ years’ PQE and where it will be important to you to work  in a close knit team where commitment to each other and collaboration is important.  We work with some great clients and their HR teams and are fortunate to have established really good relationships with them, sometimes over the course of many years. The role is therefore ideally suited to someone who really cares about clients and wants to get to know them and their businesses. We are looking for someone who is comfortable expressing their ideas about developing client service, and the working of the team, and keen to learn and develop their wider skills along with their legal practice. The team have high standards and a fast turn around of work, without creating an environment where work-life balance suffers.

    The size of the team means individuals have the ability to work independently, alongside direct partner support and training and coaching is provided to support personal development. Innovation and flexibility are key to ensuring the team and its members can provide exceptional service and grow together and as individuals.
