• Maidstone-based law firm, Brachers, has once again received the Law Society’s Conveyancing Quality Scheme (CQS) accreditation – the mark of excellence for the home buying process. The law firm, which mainly services Kent and Sussex, was one of the first firms in the country to receive the accreditation in 2012 and has continued to carry the quality mark since.

Managing Partner, Joanna Worby, said the long-running accreditation demonstrates the firm’s continued commitment to client care.

“This accreditation is proof to our clients that we are working with their best interests in mind. The home buying process is known to be one of the most stressful times in people’s lives – understandably as it is also one of the biggest purchases people will ever make. By employing a solicitor’s firm that can prove they will carry out your conveyancing to the highest of standards, some of the stress can be alleviated.”

Head of Residential Conveyancing, Kate Baigent further added:

“Brachers is here to support clients every step of the way with their conveyancing needs. This continued accreditation from the Law Society is recognition of the excellent service level we provide and those who benefit the most from the quality mark are the clients who use Brachers when buying a home. They will receive a reliable, efficient service as recognised by the CQS standard.”

The Law Society, which represents solicitors in England and Wales, launched the CQS quality mark in 2011. The aim of the CQS is to provide a recognised quality standard for residential conveyancing practices and to help stamp out fraud by creating a trusted community among conveyancing solicitor firms. In May this year, the accreditation underwent an overhaul to drive continuous improvement in best practice, client service and practice management among member firms.
