• The firm has been shortlisted for Best corporate culture and Best collaboration across the management team at the 2017 Managing Partners’ Forum (MPF) Management Excellence Awards in conjunction with Harvard Business Review and The Financial Times – the only competition that highlights management’s contribution to strategy and leadership, the client journey, operational excellence and responsible business.

The MPF is an organisation dedicated to helping professional firms grow by providing insights to improve performance. Its Management Excellence awards have become well-established and receive entries from firms across the UK.

In the Best corporate culture category, Brachers’ entry centred on the firm’s ‘With You All The Way’ campaign which focused servicing clients’ needs better and listening to client feedback to achieve better client satisfaction scores and retention. Their new internal behavioural competency framework was also acknowledged, promoting staff behaviours more tightly aligned to business strategy.

In the Best collaboration across the management team category, Brachers’ entry highlighted the firm’s new internal structures and how they deliver an improved alignment of the business plan to best serve the needs of clients rather than thinking in practice area silos. The result has been to promote better teamwork across the firm, which has also improved staff engagement.

    Joanna Worby, Managing Partner, said:

“We are delighted to have been shortlisted for these highly coveted awards. We are always looking for ways to improve everything we do at Brachers and to put clients’ needs at the heart, so it’s very encouraging to see our efforts recognised.”
News of the firms shortlisting comes in the wake of successful rankings for Brachers in the legal industry’s two leading independent directories – Chambers and Partners and the Legal 500. The firm received 26 rankings across the two directories, with over half falling into the top and second tiers.
