• Brachers is proud to announce its headline sponsorship of the Kent Farming Conference, which will take place on the evening of 25 January 2023. The firm is also sponsoring the Farm Expo on 1 March 2023.

The free conference, organised by the Kent County Agricultural Society (KCAS), is back for its second year at the Kent Showground, Maidstone, and will be themed around ‘The Future of Farming.’

Guest speakers from across the agricultural sector will share insights on diverse topics, ranging from conservation to the latest in farming technology. Brachers will also be presenting.

KCAS, a registered charity that supports the county’s farming community, is also behind the Farm Expo, which offers machinery, supplies and services for the agricultural industry. With trade stands, seminars, debates and networking opportunities, the exposition – also at the Kent Showground – is free to attend.

Brachers provides valuable legal support to individuals and companies, with specialists in agricultural and rural law who work with farmers, landowners and rural businesses.

The firm is a longstanding supporter of KCAS and its event programme, with Sarah Gaines, head of the firm’s Agriculture and Rural team, having joined its board of directors in 2021.

Sarah Gaines said: “It’s wonderful to see the return of the Kent Farming Conference, which brings together those in the farming and agricultural industry to share knowledge, expertise and best practice. The Farm Expo also offers the perfect opportunity for the agricultural community to receive industry updates and network.

“At Brachers, we have been providing legal services to farming families and landowners for over 125 years, so it’s an honour to support this vital sector through our sponsorship of these events.”

To find out more about the events and reserve tickets (both events are free), please visit the KCAS website.
