• Profile:

    Lacie is a Partner in the firm’s Commercial Litigation Team. She joined Brachers in 2017 having previously worked at a niche litigation practice in London. She was called to the Bar in 2006 and subsequently cross qualified as a solicitor in 2009. Lacie has also been a visiting lecturer on the LLB Law programme at the University of Kent.

    Lacie acts for private companies, directors, shareholders, Insolvency Practitioners, NHS Trusts, partnerships and individual partners in complex high value litigation. Her specialisms are:

    • Commercial contractual disputes
    • Director’s duties and liabilities
    • Shareholder rights and remedies
    • Breach of confidence claims
    • Corporate Insolvency
    • Personal bankruptcy
    • Alternative Dispute Resolution (‘ADR’)

    Lacie is commended for her approachable down to earth manner, and her technical litigation expertise. Lacie guides her client’s through all the stages of the litigation process from pre-action to trial, including appeals and settlement. Lacie is named as a ‘Recommended Lawyer’ in the Legal 500 2024 directory.
