Brachers advises on the management buyout of Form Workplace Solutions

Brachers has acted for the management team of Buckinghamshire-based Form Workplace Solutions on its successful management buyout (MBO).

Form Workplace Solutions is a leading specialist office interiors contractor offering comprehensive design, build and refitting services to clients nationwide, including BPP Professional Education, Bühler, Kuwait Petroleum and the British Medical Association. This year the business has evolved to meet the changing needs of clients in light of the COVID-19 pandemic, with an increased focus on safety, space and creating workspaces for smaller, highly mobile workforces.

The deal was led by Corporate Partner Matt Simmonds with support from Commercial Property Partner Emma Andersen, solicitor Alistair Wickham and trainee solicitor Sunil Landa. Abri Coetzee of The Advisory Firm provided Corporate Finance advice on the transaction.

The MBO Team includes Michael Howard, Dean Chapman and Chris Harding, who have all worked in the business for a number of years and are well known in the sector. The former owners Quentin Stacy, Graham Macey and Gary Dover will remain in the business as part of the company’s leadership team to ensure continuity, and retain minority shareholdings.
