• Brachers is proud to announce its sponsorship of the highly acclaimed Kent Charity Awards 2023 for the third year. Brachers’ Head of Private Client Christopher Eriksson-Lee and Head of the Elderly and Vulnerable team Mary Rimmer will also return as judges for the third year.

The Kent Charity Awards were set up in 2015 to celebrate the tireless work of volunteers, trustees and charities across the county. Since then, they have gone from strength to strength, becoming an annual highlight for those working in Kent’s third sector.

The awards provide an opportunity for charities of all sizes to showcase their hard work and the positive difference they make to the lives of others.

Nominations for the annual awards are now open, with categories such as Community Charity of the Year, Children’s Charity of the Year and Volunteer of the Year.

Supporting the charity sector – whether through legal support provided by our Charities team or through our own charitable efforts – is an important part of what we do at Brachers.

Christopher Eriksson-Lee, Partner and Head of Private Client, said: “It’s a privilege to sponsor the Kent Charity Awards for the third consecutive year. The outstanding work undertaken by Kent’s charities never fails to impress. I am sure the standard of entries will be equally high this year.”

Susan Robinson, Partner at Kreston Reeves and Head Judge, said of this year’s awards: ”These awards are an opportunity for charities to highlight the great work that they are doing. The Judges are looking for those charities that have done something different be it in the services that they deliver or the way that they are delivered.

“Without trustees and volunteers the sector will struggle to deliver and we take this opportunity to value their contribution by including them in the awards. We look forward to reviewing all the nomination.’’

The Kent Charity Awards are free to enter. You must submit your nominations before Friday 19 May to be eligible. Finalists will be invited to a gala evening in September 2023. Find out more on the Kent Charity Awards website.
