We recently settled a personal injury claim for Mrs C from Stratford-Upon-Avon following her accident at work for a well-known store. She slipped whilst pushing a trolley on some plastic tags that had fallen off other trolleys causing a slipping hazard.
Our client sustained an injury to her knee which required her to have an operation and led to her having a year off work.
We successfully argued that the Defendant had breached the duty they owe to our client pursuant to the Provision and Use of Work Equipment Regulations on the basis that the trolleys were defective as the plastic tags were falling off them. We settled this personal injury claim for £9,500.
The Client rated our service as ‘Excellent’ and was ‘very satisfied’ with the outcome. She further commented to ‘keep up doing what we are doing’
