In this week’s ‘60 seconds with…’ interview, we speak to Conveyancing Executive Tim Lancaster, who is part of our Residential Conveyancing team.
Tim joined Brachers in 2018 as a specialist in residential conveyancing transactions, having previously worked for an international firm in the field of intellectual property.
How long have you worked at Brachers?
Two years and three months.
What made you get into law?
Being a lawyer was of interest to me from quite a young age as I have always had quite an analytical mind, enjoyed problem solving and importantly, a good debate! Ultimately however I think the law appealed to me as I enjoy working with people and the law is very much a people orientated profession.
What advice would you give to your younger self?
Keep working hard and you will get there in the end!
What’s been the top highlight of your career so far?
I must say that I do still enjoy every completion day as it’s always great to see our clients happy and excited about moving to a new home. Recently I have particularly enjoyed working on the sale of a number of plots for one of our developer clients. It has also been exciting to be a part of our expansion to Canterbury with the opening of our new office there!
Sum up working at Brachers in three words
Collaborative, innovative and rewarding.
