Brachers advises on third acquisition for Smart Office Group

Brachers’ Corporate team has represented managed print services operation, Smart Office Solution Ltd, on their latest acquisition of Kent-based ARC Office Systems Ltd.

Smart Office Solution is one of the UK’s leading independent print management providers. It supplies businesses across the UK with printers, photocopiers and digital document management systems. Last year the business was recognised with a shortlisting in the ‘Reseller/Dealer of the Year (Turnover up to £5m)’ category at the PrintIT Awards.

Established in 1994, Meopham-headquartered ARC Office Systems Ltd supplies, maintains and supports multifunctional devices and IT products nationwide.

This latest multi-million pound deal is the third that Brachers’ Corporate team has represented the Smart Office Group on, following on from the recent acquisitions of both Document Office Technology Services Ltd and Chariot Office Automation. This latest valuable acquisition of ARC will see the business expand their reach even further into the print services sector.

The deal was led by Brachers Corporate Partner Matthew Simmonds, supported by solicitor Kieron Cummins. Stevens & Bolton represented ARC.
