• Brachers is delighted to continue its support for the Kent agricultural sector through sponsorship of the 92nd Kent County Show, taking place on 7, 8 and 9 July 2023.

The Kent County Show which takes place at the Kent Showground in Detling, presents guests with a shop window into rural Kent life, celebrating the best in Kent farming and agriculture.

Organisers of the prestigious event, The Kent County Agricultural Society (KCAS) is committed to putting farming and agriculture at the forefront of its biggest annual event. Aiming to champion the county’s agricultural community, promote education in farming and food production and celebrate rural crafts.

The event, taking place over three days has an exciting schedule of entertainment including animal shows, vintage vehicle displays and trade stalls.

Brachers head of the Agriculture and Rural team, Sarah Gaines, joined the KCAS board of directors and continues to work towards the promotion of the charitable objectives of the charity.

Sarah said: “It is wonderful to see the return of the iconic Kent County Show this year as we come together to celebrate 100 years of KCAS. It is important for the Brachers Agricultural team to sponsor an event which is so integral for the local farming community. At Brachers we have been advising farming families and landowners for over 125 years and enjoy supporting clients in many ways, including the sponsorship of agricultural events.”

Our support of this year’s Kent County Show is just one of the regional community events the firm has put its support behind in recent months. These include, the sponsorship of the Taste of Kent Awards 2023 which celebrates the food and drink of Kent. Categories sponsored include ‘young Farmer of the year’ which recognises the commitment by local growers and producers in bringing local produce to market.

Other events and community sports clubs that we have pledged our support to include sponsorship of the Kent Charity Awards, Leeds Castle Concert, and Maidstone Rugby Club, Canterbury Rugby Club and Marden Cricket and Hockey Club.
