About our speaker

Lee May is a Partner in the Commercial Property team at Brachers. Lee has over 16 years’ experience of advising clients in relation to town and country planning, environmental law and health and safety. He acts for businesses, developers, landowners and local authorities in delivering a range of projects.

Lee's recent cases include:

  • Negotiating a complex s.106 agreement for the land owner in relation to a housing development of over 400 homes.
  • Acting for a defendant landowner faced with a prosecution under the Environmental Protection Act 1990 for waste offences.
  • Acting for the defendant in relation to a criminal prosecution under the Health and Safety at Work Act 1974 and the Control of Asbestos Regulations 2012.
