Brachers to sponsor Kent Business Summit 2020
More than 400 business leaders, experts and local government representatives from Kent will soon gather to discuss the county’s sustainable economic growth. Supported by Brachers, the third Kent Business Summit is due to take place on Friday 10 January.

Highlights of the event include:
- Bank of England South East Agent, Phil Eckersley, will give an economic forecast of the latest economic and political developments.
- High Value Manufacturing Catapult’s, Chief Technology Officer, Sam Turner, will talk about tackling Kent’s productivity puzzle in the manufacturing sector.
- Professor Jagjit Chadha, Chair of the National Institute for Economic and Social Research, and Professor Anand Menon, Director of The UK in a Changing Europe think tank will analyse the latest political and economic developments of Brexit.
- Sharing economy expert and internationally renowned ‘change maker’ Benita Matofska will talk about how adding social and environmental value to your product can make you successful.
The summit encourages business, government and academia to collaborate to tackle challenges in four priority areas for Kent: transport infrastructure, placemaking, productivity and skills development.
