Harriet has significant experience in acting for claimants in medical negligence claims and provides an empathetic service to clients, always striving for the best outcome.
Harriet deals with all types of claims for medical negligence including cases relating to brain injuries, oncology, orthopaedic injuries, delay in diagnosis of diseases and fatal injuries claims.
Harriet has experience of handling complex and high value medical negligence cases and understands the difficulties associated with claims for clinical negligence, providing an empathetic service to clients. Harriet appreciates the support that clients need when dealing with claims for medical negligence from the outset and throughout the case.
Harriet additionally provides representation at inquests where a death relates to medical care. Harriet is interested in clinical negligence claims and inquests that involve issues of human rights having worked in a leading human rights team in London prior to qualifying as a Solicitor.
She also undertakes regulatory work including acting for Specsavers Optical Group representing optical professionals before the General Optical Council.
Harriet qualified in 2011 and moved to Brachers from the Clinical Negligence Team of a Top 100 London Firm in 2012. Harriet undertook her law degree at the University of Kent at Canterbury obtaining a First Class Honours degree and being awarded prizes including the Sweet and Maxwell prize for best final year results in Law. Harriet has been ranked in leading legal directory Legal 500 as Rising Star for 2020 and 2021 consecutively.
